Pollo al Ajo con Brócoli y Espinacas

Description

A healthy and delicious garlic chicken dish with broccoli and spinach.


Ingredients

  • 4 pechugas de pollo
  • 3 dientes de ajo
  • 300 gramos de brócoli
  • 200 gramos de espinacas frescas
  • 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
  • Sal y pimienta al gusto
  • Jugo de 1 limón
  • 1 cucharadita de pimentón dulce

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken breasts with water and a bit of salt. Pat dry with paper towel and set aside.
  2. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.
  3. Cut the broccoli into small florets and cook them in boiling water for 3 minutes. Then drain and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  5. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through.
  6. Add the broccoli and spinach to the skillet with the chicken. Stir well and cook for another 3 minutes until the spinach wilts.
  7. Add the lemon juice, sweet paprika, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
