Description
Delicious salmon fillet prepared in piccata style, combining the freshness of lemon with the salty touch of olives. An ideal recipe to impress at dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 lemons (juice and zest)
- 100 g green olives, pitted and chopped
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste on both sides.
- Once the oil is hot, place the salmon fillets in the skillet, cooking for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is golden and cooked through.
- Remove the fillets from the skillet and place them on a warm plate, covering them lightly with aluminum foil.
- In the same skillet, add the juice and zest of the lemons, as well as the chopped olives. Cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze.
- Pour the lemon and olive mixture over the salmon fillets and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a stronger flavor, marinate the salmon in lemon juice for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
