- 1 taza de azúcar
- 4 huevos
- 1 lata de leche condensada (397 g)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add the cup of sugar and heat it over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar melts and forms a golden caramel. Be careful not to burn it.
- Pour the caramel into a flan mold, making sure to coat the bottom and sides well. Let cool and harden.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the condensed milk and mix well.
- Pour the egg and milk mixture into the mold over the caramel.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the flan mold inside a baking tray with hot water (bain-marie).
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted into the flan comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature. Then, refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- To unmold, run a knife around the edges of the flan and place it on a plate. The caramel will slide on top.
