Description
A delicious and flavorful orange chicken dish, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 oranges (juice and zest)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the orange juice and zest with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken thighs in a large plastic bag and pour the orange mixture over them. Seal the bag and shake to coat the chicken well. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and drain excess liquid.
- Sauté the chicken thighs in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Add the remaining marinade to the skillet and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Serve the chicken hot, drizzled with the orange sauce and garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
- Ensure the chicken is well marinated for the best flavor.
- Feel free to adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
